How to Find the Best Dentist in Medellin for You

Finding the right dentist in Medellin can feel overwhelming, especially if you're seeking top-quality care at an affordable price. The ideal dentist should not only fit your budget but also deliver exceptional results, instilling confidence in every step of your treatment. With numerous options available, navigating through them requires a blend of research, comparison, and thoughtful consideration. This guide will walk you through each step of finding the best dentist in Medellin for you, from researching highly-rated professionals to comparing quotes, ultimately empowering you to make an informed decision for your dental health.

1. Search for Highly Rated Dentists in Medellin

The first step in finding the best dentist for your top smile in Medellin for you is to identify highly rated professionals with a proven reputation for excellence. Start by browsing platforms like Google Maps, Instagram, YouTube, and health forums where past patients share their experiences. Prioritize dentists who specialize in the treatment you're seeking, whether it’s dental implants, veneers, or other dental care.

Look for patient testimonials that highlight the overall experience, quality of care, and final results. Pay special attention to before-and-after photos and video testimonials that offer visual proof of the work. The more evidence you gather from real patients, the more confidence you’ll have in the reliability and skill of the dentist. This research stage will help you create a shortlist of top candidates who are known for delivering great results and ensuring patient satisfaction.

We recommend Dr. Camilo Aguirre in El Poblado and Dr. Johana Ossa in Laureles.

2. Verify Credentials of Dentists in Medellin

Once you have a shortlist, it's essential to verify each dentist's qualifications. Look into their educational background, certifications, and any advanced training they may have completed. Dentists with specialized training in procedures like dental implants, veneers, cosmetic dentistry, or orthodontics are more likely to achieve the desired outcome with precision.

3. Get a Free Quote from Your Favorite Dentists in Medellin

After narrowing down your list of top-rated dentists, the next step is to reach out for detailed quotes. Most clinics in Medellin offer free quotes through virtual consultations, which gives you a chance to understand the costs associated with your specific treatment. Be sure to contact at least 2-3 dentists to obtain quotes for comparison. Provide each clinic with the same details, including any X-rays, or treatment plans you might have, to receive the most accurate cost estimates.

When obtaining quotes, ask for a comprehensive breakdown of all associated costs. This should include the price of consultations, materials (such as premium porcelain for veneers or high-grade titanium for dental implants), treatment procedures, and follow-up appointments.

It’s also important to clarify whether the clinic offers extras like travel assistance or a warranty for their work. Gathering these quotes will help you gain a clear picture of what to expect financially and avoid any unexpected costs along the way.

4. Compare the Quotes Between Different Dentists in Medellin

Once you've collected quotes, it’s time to make a careful comparison. Price is a significant factor, but it shouldn't be the sole determinant of your choice.

What did the dentists say? Do they all agree? Do you prefer a more conservative approach or a more aggressive one?

Consider the value each clinic provides, this includes the quality of materials used, the technology they employ (such as digital imaging or laser dentistry), and the overall experience and expertise of the dentist.

Look into the type of equipment and technology the clinic uses, as modern, state-of-the-art tools can enhance both the efficiency and comfort of your treatment. Evaluate the dentist’s experience by reviewing their portfolio of previous work, especially for cosmetic treatments. Dentists with a track record of delivering stunning results in smile makeovers or complex restorative treatments will have the skills required to achieve your goals.

5. Review Patient Reviews of Your Favorite Dentists in Medellin

Beyond the quotes and qualifications, take the time to read through patient reviews and testimonials. Look for consistent positive feedback about the dentist’s chairside manner, attention to detail, and ability to ease patient anxiety. A good dentist prioritizes patient comfort, listens to your concerns, and explains the procedures in a way that’s easy to understand.

Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube often have video testimonials where patients share their dental journeys. These can provide valuable insights into the overall experience, from initial consultation to the final result, giving you a real sense of what it’s like to be treated at that clinic.

6. Select the Medellin Dentist Whose Quote You Liked Best

With all the information in hand, it's time to make your final decision. Choose the dentist who not only offers a fair and transparent price but also instills confidence through their expertise and approach. Consider the dentist’s qualifications, the clinic's reputation, and your overall comfort level with the communication you’ve had so far.

Make sure that the dentist's philosophy aligns with your expectations, whether you value a conservative approach to dentistry, prioritize aesthetics, or want a dentist who emphasizes patient education.

Location and scheduling flexibility can also play an important role, particularly if you’re traveling from abroad. Check if the clinic provides ongoing support after treatment, such as post-treatment care or guarantees, as this will be crucial for ensuring the long-term success of your dental work.

Ultimately, trust your instincts. Selecting a dentist is a highly personal decision, and you should feel comfortable and confident that you’re making the best choice for your health, comfort, and peace of mind.

Conclusion: How to Find the Best Dentist in Medellin for You

Finding the best dentist in Medellin doesn’t have to be a daunting task. By following these steps, you can make an informed decision that leads to a positive experience. Whether you’re seeking a routine procedure or a more complex treatment, taking the time to choose the right dentist in Medellin will not only give you peace of mind but also lead to better results.

Your smile is worth the investment, and with the right dentist, you’re sure to achieve the outcome you’re hoping for. Take the time to explore your options, ask questions, and choose a dental professional who will help you feel proud of your smile for years to come.

In cosmetic dentistry, dental veneers stand out as an excellent solution, offering individuals the chance to achieve their brighter smile with precision and elegance. Why Colombia for Dental Veneers?

Colombia is not just a country known for its stunning landscapes and rich culture; it has also rapidly emerged as a global epicenter for dental excellence, especially with veneers. But what makes Colombia stand out as the best country for dental tourism?

Quality of Care

Colombia prides itself on highly trained dentists who are not only proficient in the latest dental techniques but are also passionate about delivering personalized care. The country's stringent educational standards and rigorous training programs ensure that each dentist is well-equipped to handle the intricate process of veneer placement with finesse and precision.

Advanced Technology

Colombian dental clinics are on the forefront of technological integration into dental practice. From digital imaging and 3D scanning to the latest in ceramic processing, clinics are outfitted with cutting-edge technology that ensures the veneer process is not only precise but also comfortable and efficient for the patient. This commitment to technology means that patients receive veneers that are not just aesthetically pleasing but also long-lasting and perfectly fitted to their individual needs.

Cost-Effectiveness

One of the most compelling reasons patients travel to Colombia for dental veneers is the cost advantage. Without compromising on quality or safety, Colombian dental clinics offer veneer treatments at a fraction of the cost compared to North America and Europe. This cost-effectiveness, coupled with the allure of exploring the vibrant culture and beautiful landscapes of Colombia, makes it an attractive destination for those looking to combine dental care with the joy of travel.

Getting Veneers in Colombia

Get a Free Quote Online

Begin with a complimentary online consultation. If you haven't yet, please submit 5 photographs of your teeth and answer a series of questions. Colombia's best dentists will soon get in touch to confirm your eligibility for veneers and provide you with a customized, comprehensive treatment outline.

Dr. Julio Oliver will review in Cartagena, Dr. Johana Ossa and Dr. Camilo Aguirre in Medellin, Dr. Liliana Porras in Bogota, and Dr. Juan Fernando Uribe in Cali.

Organize Your Trip to Colombia

After you're happy with the provided estimate for your veneers, start contemplating potential dates for your dental vacation. Prior to finalizing your travel plans, remember to confirm availability with us. We have offices in Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, and Cali.

To secure your booking, we'll need the details of your flight and accommodation. This substitutes the need for a deposit and aids us in arranging your complimentary dental transportation.

Arrival in Colombia

Upon your arrival, we will ensure your transportation from the airport and manage all your travel needs related to your dental care. This includes assistance with hotel check-in, transportation to and from each dental appointment, and your return trip to the airport.

Preparation of Teeth

In your initial visit, your dentist will validate the treatment plan through a thorough examination. Once you're both prepared to move forward, the process of tooth preparation will commence. This typically involves removing a minimal amount of enamel from the front and sides of your teeth to accommodate the veneers. The enamel removed is generally less than 0.3mm, mirroring the thickness of the veneer that will be placed.

Creating Impressions and Fitting Temporary Veneers

Post-preparation, your dentist will cast an impression or mold of your teeth. This mold serves as the blueprint for crafting your veneers in our dental lab. While your veneers are being crafted—a process that might span a few days depending on the number needed—you'll be fitted with temporary veneers to shield your prepped teeth.

Manufacture of Veneers

Your dental impressions are sent off to a lab where your custom porcelain veneers in Colombia are meticulously crafted. Throughout this stage, adjustments in shading are made to ensure your veneers seamlessly blend with your natural teeth, providing an authentic appearance.

Veneers Fitting Session

Upon completion, you'll visit our dental office to have your porcelain veneers fitted. Before the veneers are permanently attached, your dentist will place them temporarily to assess the fit and color. Any necessary adjustments or trimming will be done to ensure a flawless fit.

Adhesion Process

To prepare for the veneer placement, your dentist will clean, polish, and etch your teeth. Etching creates a rough surface on the teeth to enhance the bond. A special adhesive is then applied to the veneers before they are positioned on your teeth. To solidify the bond rapidly, a specific light beam is directed at the veneers, activating the adhesive.

Final Touches and Post-Procedure Care

After the veneers are securely bonded, any excess adhesive is removed, and any final tweaks are made. You might be asked to come back for a check-up after a day or two to monitor how your gums are adapting to the new veneers and to re-evaluate the placement of the veneers.

Care and Maintenance

Maintaining your porcelain veneers is straightforward and involves standard oral hygiene practices such as brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups.

It's important to note that this procedure is irreversible due to the removal of enamel, necessitating thoughtful consideration.

Assurance of Quality

Provided you adhere to proper dental care, our work comes with a standard 1-year warranty for porcelain procedures, guaranteeing quality craftsmanship and installation.

In the unlikely event of any complications, we will rectify the issue at no extra cost. Please note, this warranty does not cover the costs of return travel or accommodation, nor does it cover services rendered by other dentists, or composites.

Conclusion: Colombia Creates the Best Veneers in the World

Colombia's emergence as the best place to get veneers is a testament to its fusion of medical excellence, advanced technology, and the innate warmth of its culture. The country's dental professionals, with their expert skills and dedication to precision, have set a new standard in cosmetic dentistry, offering not just a procedure, but a transformative experience. Veneers in Colombia are more than a dental solution; they represent a blend of artistry, innovation, and the spirit of a nation committed to bringing the best international smiles to life. For those seeking quality, affordability, and an unforgettable journey in their quest for the top smile, we stand proud and ready to exceed expectations.

This plan is not just about dental procedures; it's about understanding and integrating your overall health, aesthetic goals, and personal schedule.

The Procedure

Dental implant surgery is a testament to our commitment to technological excellence and patient comfort. The procedure involves the following steps:

  • Preparation: Our skilled dental surgeons prepare the implant site, ensuring that the area is ready for the implant.

  • Implant Placement: Using precision technology and techniques, the dental implant – a small titanium post – is placed into the jawbone. This post serves as a sturdy foundation for the new tooth.

  • Healing and Integration: After the implant is placed, a period of healing ensues, during which the implant integrates with the jawbone in a process known as osseointegration. This period is crucial for the stability and longevity of the implant.

  • Abutment Placement and Crown Fitting: Once the implant has integrated with the jawbone, an abutment is placed, which will hold the new crown. Finally, the crown – the visible part of the tooth – is attached, completing your new smile. This is often done 4-6 months after the implant is placed.

Aftercare and Follow-up

Our care doesn't end when the procedure is over. Aftercare is a critical phase of the dental implant process, and Dental Tourism Colombia is dedicated to ensuring your recovery is smooth and complication-free. Why Colombia is the Best Country for Dental Work

Dental tourism is not just blossoming; it's redefining dental care. This emerging trend sees people like you traveling abroad for high-quality dental services at a fraction of the cost they'd incur back home.

Among the destinations for dental work, one country stands out with its exceptional blend of top-tier dental services, breathtaking sceneries, and cultural richness - Colombia. At the heart of this revolution is Dental Tourism Colombia, your gateway to a seamless and exquisite dental care experience. Whether you're seeking to transform your smile or ensure the health of your teeth, we offer not just a treatment, but a journey worth cherishing.

The Rise of Dental Tourism in Colombia

The world is witnessing a paradigm shift in the healthcare landscape, with more and more folks opting for dental tourism as a savvy solution to their dental woes. This trend, characterized by the pursuit of economical, yet high-quality dental care in foreign locales, has positioned Colombia as a beacon of excellence in the global dental tourism map.

A Growing Global Trend

As healthcare costs soar in countries like the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe, the allure of affordable dental care in countries like Colombia is undeniable. However, it's not just the cost savings that are driving this trend. The promise of combining dental care with the opportunity to explore a new culture and landscape is an irresistible proposition for many.

Colombia's Rise in Dental Care

In recent years, Colombia has emerged as a hotspot for dental tourism. Our country's commitment to high standards in dental education and practice, coupled with the accreditation of numerous clinics by international healthcare bodies, has fostered a reputation of trust and excellence. Cities like Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, and Cali are not just celebrated for their cultural and historical significance; they’re also home to some of the most sophisticated dental clinics in the world.

Why Choose Colombia for Dental Work?

Quality of Dental Work

In Colombia, the standard of dental care is not just maintained; it's revered. Our country boasts a rigorous education system for dental professionals, ensuring that each dentist is not just qualified but exceptionally skilled. Moreover, dental clinics in Colombia adhere to stringent healthcare regulations, guaranteeing that every procedure, from the simplest to the most complex, meets global quality standards. This dedication to quality is evident in the precise work and attention to detail demonstrated by Colombian dentists.

Cost-Effectiveness

The affordability of dental procedures in Colombia, compared to North America and Europe, is stark. Patients can expect to save significantly, often paying only a fraction of the price for procedures like veneers, dental implants, or additional treatments.

However, this cost-effectiveness does not come at the expense of quality. You can enjoy top-tier dental care, harnessing the same or even better technology and materials than they would find back home, but at a more accessible price point.

Advanced Technology

Colombia's dental clinics are at the forefront of technological advancement. They’re equipped with cutting-edge tools and technology, ensuring every treatment is not just effective but also minimally invasive and with shorter recovery times. Whether it's the latest in 3D imaging, laser dentistry, or computer-aided design and manufacturing of dental implants, Colombian clinics are committed to leveraging technology to enhance patient care.

How to Get a Top Smile from Medellin

Welcome to the enchanting city of Medellin, a gem in the world of dental tourism where exceptional quality meets affordability in a stunning urban landscape. Medellin, a pivotal hub in Colombia for dental care, combines top-notch dental services with the charm of its vibrant city life.

At Dental Tourism Colombia, we’re dedicated to providing you a top smile with expertise and care. We're committed to guiding you through your dental journey, ensuring high-quality treatments without the high costs. From routine check-ups to comprehensive dental makeovers, our skilled dentists, advanced facilities, and the warm culture create an ideal setting for all your dental needs.

In this post, we'll explore the nuances of securing premier dental care in Medellin. Prepare to embark on a journey, not only for a top smile, but also to immerse you in the captivating experience of Medellin, a city renowned for its innovation, culture, and beauty.

Why Medellin for a Top Smile?

Medellin distinguishes itself as a standout destination in the world of dental tourism for several compelling reasons. Key among these is the city's reputation for adhering to exceptional dental care standards.

The cost of dental procedures here remains significantly lower compared to North America and Europe. This affordability doesn't mean a compromise in quality; instead, it highlights the economic benefits of choosing Medellin for your dental needs. You don't just leave with a brilliant smile; you also enjoy the satisfaction of having made a sound financial choice, blending top-tier dental care with the unique cultural and urban experiences that the city has to offer.

What are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are slim, tailor-crafted coverings meant to be attached to the front of teeth. They effectively duplicate the appearance of natural teeth and address various dental issues, such as:

  • Teeth that are so stained that whitening treatments are ineffective.

  • Teeth showing signs of chips or wear.

  • Misshapen, misaligned, or crooked teeth.

  • Visible gaps or irregular spacing, particularly among the front upper teeth.

Primarily aimed at cosmetic enhancement, veneers yield a radiant, white smile with uniformly shaped and well-aligned teeth. Beyond improving aesthetic appeal, veneers also safeguard the surface of damaged teeth, potentially circumventing the need for more complex dental treatments.

Modern porcelain veneers are crafted to be semi-transparent, providing a look that is more naturally akin to real teeth compared to older versions.

10 Porcelain Veneers $4,600
16 Porcelain Veneers $7,400
20 Porcelain Veneers $8,000
Composite Veneer $250

Additional Dental Costs

Gum Shaping: This aesthetic procedure shapes the gum line and costs between $250 to $500 USD.

Teeth Whitening: To achieve a consistent smile, patients often choose to whiten their lower teeth to match veneered upper teeth. Since teeth whitening effects fade over time, ongoing treatments are necessary. Typically, a whitening package includes three sessions, each costing around $100 USD.

Preparation Before Veneers: Any existing dental problems like decay or gum disease must be treated before applying veneers, impacting the overall cost. In cases of significant teeth misalignment, porcelain dental crowns, which are about $100 USD more per tooth than veneers, might be advised.

Veneer Care: Porcelain veneers need just regular oral hygiene - brushing, flossing, and dental check-ups. Composite veneers, however, may require more frequent attention to prevent staining and chipping, thus ensuring their longevity.

Additional Expenses for Your Medellin Dental Vacation

When organizing your dental trip to Medellin, it's important to consider costs beyond the dental procedures. Despite these additional expenses, you save significantly, enjoying both the affordability of dentistry and the unique experience of a dental vacation.

Accommodation: Medellin offers a range of accommodation options, from economical hostels to high-end hotels, all known for their Colombian hospitality. We provide a hand-picked list of recommended hotels near our clinic in our complimentary quotes.

Food: Dining expenses in Medellin can vary. Local eateries offer delightful, budget-friendly meals, while upscale restaurants cater to those seeking a more luxurious dining experience.

Why Colombia for a Top Smile?

Colombia stands out in the realm of dental tourism for several compelling reasons. First and foremost, our country is renowned for its exceptional dental care standards.

Our clinics, located in Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, and Cali, are staffed with highly skilled dentists like Dr. Julio Oliver, Dr. Johana Ossa, Dr. Liliana Porras, and Dr. Juan Fernando Uribe

These professionals are not just experts in their field but are also equipped with cutting-edge technology, ensuring that every procedure, from the simplest to the most complex, is performed with precision and care.

The cost of dental procedures in Colombia is also significantly lower compared to North America and Europe, making it an attractive option for those seeking high-quality dental care without the exorbitant price tag. This affordability does not compromise quality; rather, it reflects the economic advantages of choosing Colombia for dental services abroad. Our patients not only leave with a top smile but also with the satisfaction of having made a wise financial decision.

What Exactly are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are thin, custom-made covers designed to be affixed to the front side of teeth. They effectively replicate the look of natural teeth and are used to address a range of dental concerns, including:

  • Teeth stained to a degree where whitening is ineffective.

  • Teeth that have chips or signs of wear.

  • Misaligned, irregularly shaped, or crooked teeth.

  • Noticeable gaps or uneven spacing, especially between the front upper teeth.

Primarily used for cosmetic improvements, veneers provide a bright, white smile with teeth that are well-formed and aligned. They do more than enhance appearance; veneers also protect the surface of damaged teeth, which can help avoid more invasive dental procedures. The latest porcelain veneers are designed to be translucent, offering a more natural appearance than earlier versions.

How Much Is a Full Set of Veneers in Colombia?

Welcome to the world of dazzling smiles and transformative dental care! In this post, we delve into one of the most sought-after cosmetic dental treatments today – veneers. Renowned for their ability to bestow a picture-perfect smile, veneers have become a popular choice for those seeking to enhance their dental aesthetics.

But the big question remains: How much does a full set of veneers cost in Colombia? As a country celebrated for its high-quality yet affordable dental services, Colombia has emerged as a leading destination for dental tourism. Join us as we explore the cost, process, and unparalleled benefits of getting your full set of veneers in Colombia. Discover why so many people from around the world pick Colombia as the best place to get veneers.

What are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted from tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth, enhancing their appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth, transforming their color, shape, size, or length. Veneers come in mainly two types: porcelain and composite.

Porcelain veneers are popular for their strength, durability, and natural look, closely mimicking the light-reflecting properties of natural teeth.

Composite veneers, on the other hand, are made from a resin material and can be a more cost-effective option, though they might not be as long-lasting as their porcelain counterparts.

The benefits of choosing veneers for dental aesthetics are numerous. They provide a natural tooth appearance, stain resistance, and the ability to select the color to make dark teeth appear whiter. Veneers also offer a conservative approach to changing a tooth's color and shape; they don't require the extensive shaping that crowns do, yet offer a stronger, more aesthetic alternative.

Dental Veneers in Colombia: An Overview

Our beautiful country offers more than just breathtaking landscapes and rich culture; it's also home to world-class dentistry. Many have studied internationally and are well-versed in the latest dental technologies and techniques, ensuring that patients receive the best care possible.

These cities not only offer top-notch dental services but also present an opportunity for patients to recuperate in picturesque and relaxing environments.

The high standard of care, combined with the significantly lower costs compared to North America and Europe, makes Colombia an attractive option for those seeking quality veneers abroad. By choosing Colombia for dental veneers, patients don't just get access to excellent dental care, they also experience the warmth and hospitality that Colombia is known for.

How Much is a Full Set of Veneers in Colombia?

Porcelain Veneer $490
10 Porcelain Veneers $4,600
16 Porcelain Veneers $7,400
20 Porcelain Veneers $8,000
Composite Veneer $250
20 Composite Veneers $4,500

Understanding Veneer Costs in Colombia

When considering veneers in Colombia, several factors impact your total investment.

Material Choices for Veneers

The cost varies based on the veneer material. Porcelain, known for its durability and natural look, tends to be pricier than composite options.

Quantity and Discounts

The more veneers you get, the higher the total cost. However, we offer discounts for larger sets, such as 10, 16, or 20 veneers. For a uniform look, especially in the smile line, it’s best to choose the same material for all veneers. Porcelain maintains color and resists damage better than composite, which can wear and stain over time.

Additional Dental Procedures

Gum Reshaping

To enhance aesthetics, gum reshaping might be necessary, usually costing between $250 and $500 USD.

Teeth Whitening

For a balanced smile, combining veneers on top teeth with whitening for the bottom can be effective. Our standard whitening package offers 3 sessions, each at $100 USD.

Addressing Dental Health

Treating existing conditions like gum disease or decay is essential before applying veneers. If teeth are significantly misaligned, porcelain crowns, costing slightly more than veneers, may be a better option.

Aftercare

Porcelain veneers need standard oral hygiene. Composite veneers, however, require more maintenance due to potential staining and chipping.

Calculating the Total Cost of Veneers in Colombia

In addition to dental costs, remember to account for:

Flights

Airfare varies based on season and origin. Our clinics are in Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, and Cali.

Accommodation

We can recommend hotels near our clinics, ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels.

Dining

Options vary from affordable local eateries to high-end restaurants.

Tourism

Exploring Colombia's culture and landmarks involves additional costs like entry fees and transportation.

By balancing these costs with the savings from dental work, your trip can be both cost-effective and enjoyable.

Choosing the Right Dentist in Colombia

When looking for the perfect dental clinic and dentist in Colombia for veneers, it's crucial to make an informed choice. Here are some tips to guide you:

Research and Reputation

Investigate the clinic’s history and the dentist’s qualifications. Look for reviews and testimonials from previous patients to gauge their satisfaction and the quality of care provided.

Specialization and Experience

Ensure the dentist specializes in veneers and has substantial experience in cosmetic dentistry. This expertise is key to achieving the best results.

Consultation and Communication

A good dentist should offer a thorough consultation, listen to your needs, and clearly explain the procedure, including aftercare.

Technology and Techniques

Modern dental technology and advanced techniques contribute to more efficient and effective treatments. Check if the clinic is equipped with the latest in dental care technology.

How to Get Veneers in Colombia

1. Get a Free Quote Online

The first step is a free online consultation. If you haven’t already, please upload 5 photos of your teeth and answer a few questions. The best dentists in Colombia will respond shortly to confirm you’re a candidate for veneers and share a personalized, detailed treatment plan.

Dr. Julio Oliver will review in Cartagena, Dr. Johana Ossa in Medellin, Dr. Liliana Porras in Bogota, and Dr. Juan Fernando Uribe in Cali.

2. Plan Your Trip Abroad

Once you’re happy with your veneers quote, start thinking about dates. Before you book, be sure to check with us to ensure we have availability. We have offices in Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, and Cali.

To confirm your appointment, we’ll need your flight and hotel information. This is instead of a deposit and helps coordinate your free dental transportation.

3. Fly to Colombia

Upon arrival, we’ll pick you up from the airport and handle all of your dental related transportation needs. This includes hotel check in, to and from each appointment, and back to the airport.

4. Tooth Preparation

During your first appointment, your dentist will confirm your treatment plan by examining you up close. When both of you are ready to proceed, tooth preparation begins. This process typically requires the removal of a small amount of enamel from the front and sides of your teeth to make space for the veneers. The amount of enamel removed is usually less than a millimeter (0.3mm) and is roughly equal to the thickness of the veneer to be fitted.

5. Impressions and Temporary Veneers

After the teeth are prepared, your dentist will make an impression or mold of your teeth. This mold is used to create your custom veneers in our dental lab. The fabrication process takes a few days depending on the quantity of veneers you get. In the meantime, we’ll place temporary veneers to protect your prepared teeth.

6. Veneer Fabrication

Your impressions are sent to a dental laboratory where the porcelain veneers are custom-made for your teeth. During fabrication, color shading can be adjusted to match your surrounding teeth for a natural look.

7. Fitting of the Veneers

Once your porcelain veneers are ready, you will return to our dental office for fitting. Before the porcelain veneers are permanently bonded to your teeth, your dentist will temporarily place them to examine their fit and color. We will then remove and trim the veneers as needed to achieve the perfect fit.

8. Bonding

To prepare your teeth to receive the veneers, your dentist will clean, polish, and etch them. Etching roughens the teeth to allow for a strong bonding process. A special cement is applied to the veneers, which are then placed onto your prepared teeth. Once positioned correctly, your dentist will apply a special light beam to the veneers, which activates chemicals in the cement causing it to harden quickly.

9. Final Adjustments and Follow-Up

After the veneers are bonded in place and the excess cement is removed, your dentist will make any necessary final adjustments. You may be asked to return for a follow-up visit a day or two after to check how your gums are responding to the presence of your veneers and to once again examine the veneer's placement.

Maintenance

Porcelain veneers do not require any special care beyond good oral hygiene practices. Brushing, flossing, and visits to your local dentist for regular check-ups are important to maintain the health and longevity of your veneers.

This process is not reversible due to the enamel removal, so it's a commitment that should be considered seriously.

Work Guarantee

Assuming you take proper care of your teeth, our dental work is guaranteed through an industry standard warranty of 1 year for porcelain work. This ensures work is properly manufactured and installed.

In the rare case of an issue, we will redo the work for free. We will not pay for return airfare or hotel. We will not reimburse work done by another dentist.

Additional Benefits of Choosing Colombia for Dental Veneers

Choosing Colombia for your dental veneers offers more than just the promise of a top smile; it's an opportunity to blend healthcare with the pleasures of a vacation in one of the world's most captivating destinations. While you transform your smile, you can immerse yourself in Colombia's rich cultural tapestry, from the vibrant streets of Medellin to the historic charm of Cartagena. The country's diverse landscapes, ranging from serene beaches to lush mountains, provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation and recovery.

Beyond dental veneers, Colombia's healthcare system is known for its high standards and wide array of services. Tourists can access a variety of other dental and health treatments, often at a fraction of the cost they would pay in their home countries. Services like routine check-ups, advanced dental procedures, and even cosmetic surgeries can be conveniently scheduled during their stay.

Veneers Abroad: Your Guide to a Perfect Smile at a Fraction of the Cost

Imagine transforming your smile into the one you've always dreamed of without breaking the bank. For many Americans, the high cost and inconvenience of dental procedures like veneers can be daunting, often leaving them to endure dissatisfaction with their smiles or facing hefty bills. But what if there's a smarter, more adventurous solution?

Welcome to the world of dental tourism, a gateway to top-notch dental care combined with the allure of exotic travel. In this guide, we'll explore how getting veneers abroad isn't just a cost-effective choice, but an opportunity to experience world-class dental treatments while immersing yourself in the rich culture and breathtaking landscapes of Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, and Cali. Ready to embark on a journey that leaves you with a lasting smile and memories to cherish? Let’s dive in!

The Rise of Dental Tourism

In recent years, dental tourism has emerged not just as a trend, but as a booming global industry. According to a report by Patients Beyond Borders, the dental tourism market is growing at an astonishing rate of 15-25% annually, with patients seeking high-quality yet affordable dental care outside their home countries. This surge is powered by skyrocketing dental costs in the U.S. and other Western countries, coupled with the rise of highly skilled dentists in destinations like Colombia.

For instance, John K., a teacher from Florida, shares his transformative experience: 'I was quoted $21,000 for veneers in the U.S., but in Medellin, the same procedure with even better care cost me just a third of that price. The savings were incredible, and the experience was beyond my expectations.' Stories like John's are becoming increasingly common, as more and more people discover the dual benefits of combining dental care with the joy of exploring new cultures and destinations.

Why Choose Veneers Abroad?

Opting for veneers abroad offers a trifecta of unbeatable advantages: significant cost savings, exceptional quality of care, and the unique opportunity for travel. The most immediate benefit is the cost-effectiveness. The cost of a full set of veneers in Colombia can be up to 60-70% lower than in the U.S., without compromising on quality.

This affordability doesn’t mean a trade-off in care standards. Many international dental clinics boast state-of-the-art facilities, English-speaking staff, and dentists trained in the latest cosmetic dentistry techniques. In addition to the financial and quality aspects, there's the added allure of travel.

Undergoing dental treatment in a country like Colombia allows you to recuperate in a scenic setting, turning what could be a stressful experience into a memorable dental vacation. Whether it's exploring the historic streets of Cartagena, embracing the vibrant culture of Medellin, or maybe enjoying the natural beauty of Cali, the journey to a brighter smile can be as enriching as the destination itself. Colombia is the best place to get veneers.

Colombia for Dental Tourism

Colombia, a gem in the heart of South America, is rapidly gaining recognition as a premier destination for dental tourism. Known for its warm hospitality, diverse landscapes, and rich cultural heritage, the country offers a unique blend of experiences for those seeking dental care abroad.

From the bustling streets of Bogota with its blend of modernity and historical charm, to the serene beaches of Cartagena, every corner of Colombia promises an enriching journey. Patients can explore the verdant coffee regions, visit Medellin - the city of eternal spring, or unwind in the vibrant atmosphere of Cali.

What makes Colombia stand out in the realm of dental tourism is not just the high standard of dental care but also the opportunity to recover and relax in some of the most beautiful and diverse settings in the world. The country's commitment to top-tier medical standards, coupled with its natural and cultural attractions, makes it an ideal choice for those seeking quality dental care in an unforgettable setting.

Best Dentist in Colombia

Welcome to your guide to finding the best dentist in Colombia's vibrant cities. When you're a visitor, the importance of choosing a proficient dentist cannot be overstated.

We’ll share the criteria for choosing the best dentist and spotlight four outstanding dentists, each located in the heart of Colombia's most iconic cities:

Premier Dental Care in Colombia

Colombia has become a major hub for high-quality dental care, renowned for its blend of highly skilled dental professionals, many of whom have international training, and its state-of-the-art dental facilities equipped with advanced technology. This level of expertise, combined with the affordability of treatments compared to Western countries, makes Colombia an attractive dental vacation destination for international patients.

The country's dental sector is characterized by a wide range of services, from basic care to complex surgeries, all delivered with a focus on patient care and hospitality. These factors position Colombia as a prominent player in the global dental tourism market, especially with veneers abroad.

Criteria for Choosing the Best Dentist in Colombia

When searching for the best dentist in Colombia for you, several important factors come into play.

Qualifications

The qualifications and experience of dental professionals are paramount. Look for dentists who have credible qualifications, including those obtained from recognized international institutions, and a solid track record of experience in general and specialized dental procedures.

Technology

High-quality dental clinics in Colombia often boast state-of-the-art technology and modern facilities, which are essential for a wide range of dental procedures and to ensure the best outcomes. This includes the latest in digital imaging, computer-aided design and manufacturing for dental prosthetics, and advanced materials for various treatments including dental implants and cosmetic dentistry like veneers and crowns.

Communication

Language and communication are also key considerations. You want a dentist that caters to an international clientele and has multilingual staff to ensure clear and effective communication. This enhances the overall experience by ensuring that your needs and concerns are fully understood and addressed.

Reputation

The reputation of the dental clinic and its staff is a vital factor to consider. A well-regarded clinic with a history of satisfied patients is often a reliable choice. Research the clinic’s history, awards, or recognitions in the field of dentistry. Word-of-mouth referrals, online ratings, and reviews on social media and healthcare websites can also give a good indication of the clinic's standing in the community and the dental industry.

Free Online Consultations

To further facilitate patient accessibility and convenience, many distinguished dental clinics in Colombia offer free online consultations. These allow potential patients to discuss their dental concerns, receive preliminary advice, and plan their treatment from the comfort of their own home, before committing to travel. This service is particularly beneficial for you, providing an opportunity to establish a rapport with the dentist, understand the treatment options available, and gain insights into the expected outcomes, all without any initial cost or obligation.

Free Dental Transportation

Many top dental clinics in Colombia offer complimentary transportation services to enhance the patient experience. This includes airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring a hassle-free journey for you. Additionally, these services often extend to transportation for all dental appointments, including visits for initial consultations, x-rays, and follow-up checks. This convenient service is a testament to the clinic's commitment to patient care and comfort, making the entire dental treatment process seamless and stress-free.

Dental Work Guarantee

A significant aspect to consider is the dental work guarantee offered by the clinic. Leading dental clinics in Colombia often provide a guarantee for their work, reflecting their confidence in the quality and durability of the treatments they offer. This guarantee typically covers various aspects of dental procedures, ensuring patients have peace of mind regarding the longevity and success of their treatments. It's essential to inquire about the terms, duration, and coverage of these guarantees, as they underscore the clinic's commitment to excellence and patient satisfaction.

Best Place to Get Veneers

In recent years, the pursuit of the perfect smile has brought dental veneers to the forefront of cosmetic dentistry, gaining immense popularity worldwide. These thin, custom-made shells, designed to cover the front surface of teeth, have become a go-to solution for enhancing aesthetic appeal and rectifying dental imperfections.

At the same time, dental tourism has emerged as a fascinating phenomenon, with Colombia distinguishing itself as a prime destination. Our country has become renowned for its high-quality dental services, affordable prices, and skilled practitioners, making it an attractive option for those seeking to get veneers abroad.

What Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are a cosmetic dental procedure designed to improve the appearance of teeth by applying a thin layer over the front surface. Their primary purpose is to enhance dental aesthetics by correcting issues such as discoloration, chips, or misalignment.

Veneers come in various types, with the most common being porcelain and composite. Porcelain veneers are favored for their durability and natural appearance, closely mimicking the light-reflecting properties of natural teeth.

On the other hand, composite veneers are made from a resin material applied directly to the teeth. While they are less costly and require less tooth enamel removal than porcelain veneers, they don't offer the same longevity or resistance to stains. Each type of veneer has its own advantages, making the choice between them dependent on individual needs and preferences.

The Rise of Dental Tourism in Colombia

Dental tourism, a growing sector within the medical tourism industry, involves individuals traveling abroad primarily to access dental care, often at a significantly lower cost compared to their home country. This practice has gained substantial traction in recent years, as patients seek out both routine and specialized dental procedures in foreign destinations.

A prime example of this trend can be observed in Colombia, where dental tourism is experiencing a notable surge. While specific statistics vary, reports indicate a steady increase in the number of international patients visiting Colombia for dental services.

Factors contributing to this rise include the country's competitive pricing, high-quality care, and the appeal of combining dental treatment with vacation-like experiences in Colombia's diverse and culturally rich environments. This growth in dental tourism not only benefits patients through cost savings and access to high-quality care but also boosts the local economies of the host countries.

Additional Dental Procedures

Gum Sculpting

To achieve optimal aesthetic outcomes, some patients may benefit from gum sculpting. This treatment typically costs between $250 to $500 USD.

Teeth Whitening

For those with veneers on their upper teeth only, whitening the lower teeth may create a more uniform smile. This enhancement requires regular maintenance as the brightening effect diminishes over time. A standard teeth whitening package usually includes three treatments, with each costing approximately $100 USD each session.

Dental Health Interventions

Before veneer placement, any underlying dental conditions such as gum disease or decay need to be addressed, impacting the total cost. Also, teeth that are severely misaligned may require porcelain crowns, which are generally about $100 USD more per tooth compared to veneers.

Aftercare

While porcelain veneers typically require no special care beyond normal oral hygiene, composite veneers might need periodic attention due to their susceptibility to staining and chipping. Consistent brushing, flossing, and dental visits are essential to maintain veneer condition and longevity.

Additional Costs

When planning a dental vacation, consider various expenses beyond the dental treatments. Despite these additional costs, many patients find considerable overall savings and enjoy the dual benefits of financial savings and a relaxing holiday.

Flights

Air travel is a significant expense, varying depending on the season and departure location.

6. Fabrication of Your Personalized Veneers

We utilize your impressions to construct your personalized porcelain veneers in our lab, ensuring the color matches naturally with your existing teeth.

7. Veneer Trial and Adjustment

Upon completion, you'll come in for a trial fitting. We will place the veneers temporarily to verify their fit and look, making any necessary adjustments before finalizing them.

We'll prepare your teeth by cleaning, polishing, and etching them for optimal bonding. A special adhesive is applied to the veneers, which are then precisely positioned and solidified using a targeted light.

9. Final Adjustments and Follow-Up Check

After bonding, we'll perform any necessary final adjustments. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled soon after to confirm the health of your gums and the correct placement of the veneers.

Maintenance

Preserve the longevity of your veneers through consistent oral care: brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits.

Commitment Reminder

It's important to note that this procedure is permanent, as it involves the removal of tooth enamel and requires a significant commitment.

Why Choose Colombia for Dental Veneers?

Colombia has emerged as a notable dental vacation destination for high-quality dental care, particularly in the field of cosmetic dentistry like veneers. The country boasts a growing number of well-trained and skilled dental professionals who adhere to international standards, often having received part of their education or training abroad. This ensures that the quality of dental services, ranging from routine procedures to advanced cosmetic treatments, is on par with global standards.

Affordability is a key factor that sets Colombia apart in the dental care sector. Dental procedures in Colombia, including sophisticated cosmetic dentistry, are often significantly more affordable compared to the United States. This does not come at the expense of quality, making Colombia an attractive destination for veneers abroad.

Criteria for Choosing the Best Dentist for Veneers

When considering veneers in Colombia, several important factors come into play.

Qualifications

The qualifications and experience of dental professionals are paramount. Look for dentists who have credible qualifications, including those obtained from recognized international institutions, and a solid track record of experience, particularly in the specific procedure of interest. Patient reviews and testimonials can provide valuable insights into the quality of care and patient satisfaction.

Technology

Another crucial aspect is the technology and facilities available. High-quality dental clinics in Colombia often boast state-of-the-art technology and modern facilities, which are essential for advanced dental procedures and to ensure the best outcomes. This includes the latest in digital imaging, computer-aided design and manufacturing for dental prosthetics, and advanced materials for procedures like veneers and dental implants.

Communication

Language and communication are also key considerations. We cater to an international clientele and have multilingual staff to ensure clear and effective communication. This enhances the overall experience by ensuring that your needs and concerns are fully understood and addressed.

Additional Procedures

Gum Reshaping

For some patients seeking the best aesthetic results, gum contouring might be needed. This procedure usually ranges from $250 to $500 USD in cost.

Teeth Whitening

To complement veneers on the upper teeth, patients may choose to whiten their lower teeth for a balanced appearance. As the whitening effect fades over time, periodic maintenance treatments are required. A typical teeth whitening package includes three sessions, costing around $100 USD per session.

Dental Procedures

Prior to applying veneers, any existing dental issues like gum disease or decay must be resolved, which adds to the overall cost. Additionally, if teeth needing veneers are significantly crooked or misaligned, porcelain crowns might be necessary. Porcelain crowns are usually about $100 USD more expensive per tooth than veneers.

Aftercare

Porcelain veneers demand no special maintenance apart from regular oral hygiene. However, composite veneers may need occasional upkeep due to the resin's propensity to stain and chip. Regular brushing, flossing, and dental check-ups are crucial to keep veneers in good condition and ensure their durability.

Additional Costs to Consider

In organizing a dental holiday, it's important to budget for various expenses apart from the dental procedures. Even with these extra costs, patients often find significant overall savings, enjoying both financial benefits and the pleasure of a holiday.

Airfare is a major factor, and its price fluctuates based on the season and departure location.

Apart from financial benefits, dental tourism also offers the chance to combine essential dental treatments with the joy of travel. It provides an opportunity to explore new destinations, immerse in different cultures, taste new cuisines, and visit unique attractions, all while taking care of dental health. Best Country to Get Veneers?

Embarking on a quest for the perfect smile leads many to consider dental veneers, and Colombia is emerging as the premier destination for this transformative procedure. We’ll unveil the reasons why Colombia stands as the best country to get veneers abroad, ensuring your journey to a brighter smile is as informed as it is inspiring.

What are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are thin coverings that are placed over the front (visible) part of the tooth. They look like natural teeth and can be used to correct a variety of dental issues, such as:

  • Teeth that are stained and can't be whitened by bleaching.

  • Chipped or worn teeth.

  • Crooked or misshapen teeth.

  • Uneven spaces or a large gap between the upper front teeth.

The purpose of veneers is primarily aesthetic; they create a bright, white smile with beautifully aligned, shapely teeth. They also protect the surface of damaged teeth and may eliminate the need for more extensive treatments. The translucent quality of modern porcelain veneers provides a more natural look than what’s been available in the past.

The Appeal of Dental Tourism

Dental tourism refers to the practice of traveling abroad to receive dental care. This concept has gained popularity as patients seek cost-effective alternatives to local dental treatments, which can be prohibitively expensive in some countries. These savings are often substantial enough to offset the cost of travel and accommodation, making the overall expense of dental vacation less than the treatment alone in the patient's home country.

Beyond the economic aspect, dental tourism also provides an opportunity to combine necessary dental care with the experience of travel. It allows individuals to enjoy a holiday in a different locale, experiencing new cultures, cuisines, and attractions, all while addressing their dental health needs. This can make the potentially stressful experience of dental work more pleasant and is especially appealing to those who may need to undergo extensive procedures that require recovery time.

Why Colombia is the Best Country to Get Veneers

Colombia has been steadily building a reputation as a hotspot for cosmetic dentistry, drawing patients from around the globe. This rise in prominence is due in large part to the combination of highly skilled dental professionals and the use of cutting-edge technology in its clinics. Colombian dental practitioners often train internationally, bringing a wealth of knowledge and innovative techniques back to their home country. The standards of dental clinics in Colombia are stringent, with many facilities boasting state-of-the-art equipment and adhering to rigorous hygiene protocols.

Moreover, Colombia offers these dental services at a fraction of the cost typically found in North America and Europe, without compromising on quality. This affordability is partly because of the lower cost of living and operational expenses in Colombia. This combination of high standards, expert care, and affordable prices makes Colombia an attractive destination for anyone looking to enhance their smile through cosmetic dentistry.

16 Porcelain Veneers $7,400
20 Porcelain Veneers $8,000

Additional Procedures

Gum Shaping

For optimal aesthetic outcomes, gum reshaping may be necessary for some patients. This additional procedure typically costs between $250 and $500 USD.

Teeth Whitening

In some instances, patients may opt for veneers on the upper visible teeth and choose teeth whitening for the lower set to achieve a harmonious look. Since the whitening effect gradually diminishes over time, maintenance treatments will be necessary. A standard teeth whitening package includes 3 sessions, with each session priced at $100 USD.

Dental Health Treatments

Before veneer application, any pre-existing dental conditions, such as gum disease or tooth decay, must be addressed. Treating these issues will incur additional costs. Moreover, if the teeth designated for veneers are excessively crooked or misaligned, porcelain crowns may be necessary instead. Porcelain crowns are more costly, typically by an extra $100 per tooth, compared to porcelain veneers.

Aftercare

Porcelain veneers do not require any special care beyond good oral hygiene practices. Composite veneers will need maintenance every once in a while as the resin stains and chips. Brushing, flossing, and visits to the dentist for regular check-ups are important to maintain the health and longevity of your veneers.

Additional Costs to Consider

When planning a dental trip, it's crucial to consider extra expenses beyond the dental work. Despite these additional costs, patients often save significantly, enjoying substantial savings and the added bonus of a vacation.

Flights

Airfare will be a primary consideration, and prices will vary depending on the time of year and the origin of the flight.

Hotel

Accommodation options range widely, from budget-friendly hostels to luxurious hotels, each providing a different slice of Colombian hospitality and comfort. We share recommended hotels near our offices in our free quotes.

Food

Food expenses can be managed on a spectrum as well, with local eateries offering delicious and affordable meals, while upscale restaurants provide gourmet experiences.

Tourism

Exploring the vibrant culture, lush landscapes, and historical landmarks of Colombia is an integral part of the experience, which also incurs costs such as entry fees and local transportation.

Dr. Julio Oliver will review in Cartagena, Dr. Johana Ossa in Medellin, Dr. Liliana Porras in Bogota, and Dr. Juan Fernando Uribe in Cali.

2. Plan Your Trip to Colombia

Once you’re happy with your quote, start thinking about dates.

After your full set of veneers in Colombia are bonded in place and the excess cement is removed, your dentist will make any necessary final adjustments. You may be asked to return for a follow-up visit a day or two after to check how your gums are responding to the presence of your veneers and to once again examine the veneer's placement.

Maintenance

Porcelain veneers do not require any special care beyond good oral hygiene practices. Brushing, flossing, and visits to the dentist for regular check-ups are important to maintain the health and longevity of your veneers.

Colombia stands out as a leading destination for those seeking top-notch dental veneers, combining affordability with expert craftsmanship in the field of cosmetic dentistry. Patients are not only assured of receiving care from highly qualified professionals using state-of-the-art technology but also enjoy the added benefits of Colombia's rich cultural tapestry. Factors Impacting Your Cost of Veneers in Colombia

Several factors play a part in determining the final price of getting veneers in Colombia.

Veneer Material

The choice of material greatly affects cost. Porcelain veneers, known for their durability and lifelike quality, generally come at a higher price point compared to their composite counterparts.

Quantity of Veneers

The more veneers you get, the higher the total expense. That said, we offer package deals for multiple veneers, often chosen in sets of 10, 16, or 20, to make it more cost-effective.

We advise selecting the same material for all veneers within the visible smile zone to ensure a uniform look. Porcelain, known for its resilience and color stability, is preferred over composite, which is susceptible to discoloration and damage over time.

Additional Dental Work

Gum Shaping

Adjusting the gum line for a balanced smile may be necessary, adding $250 to $500 USD to your costs.

Teeth Whitening

Some opt for veneers on visible upper teeth and whitening for the lower. Keep in mind, teeth whitening requires ongoing treatments for upkeep, with an initial package often including 3 sessions at $100 USD each.

Dental Health Procedures

Any underlying oral health issues must be addressed before veneers are applied. Costs for these treatments are additional, and if teeth are notably misaligned, porcelain crowns, which are more expensive by about $100 per tooth, might be recommended over veneers.

Maintenance

While porcelain veneers demand no special maintenance beyond regular oral hygiene, composite veneers may need periodic care due to future staining and wear. Routine dental visits are essential for the longevity of these veneers.

Travel Expenses

Account for all associated costs when budgeting for a dental vacation to get veneers abroad. Despite these, the overall savings can be significant, combining cost benefits with the pleasure of travel.

Flight costs are a major factor and fluctuate based on season and departure location. Our offices are located in Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, and Cali.

How Much Are Veneers in Colombia?

The popularity of cosmetic dentistry is increasing, particularly for dental veneers. These custom-designed shells can quickly and significantly enhance the look of your smile.

At the same time, there’s an uptick in dental tourism, with Colombia emerging as a prime dental vacation destination for individuals in search of top-notch veneers abroad at a lower cost.

What Are Veneers?

Dental veneers are custom-made, thin shells crafted from tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. Veneers can be made from porcelain or from resin composite materials.

Cost Factors for Veneers in Colombia

There are a few factors to consider when reviewing how much a full set of veneers in Colombia is.

Type of Veneer Material

The price of each veneer varies based on the material used, with porcelain veneers typically being more expensive than composite ones due to their longer-lasting and more natural appearance.

Number of Veneers

The total cost of your veneers is directly related to the number you choose to have fitted. As you opt for more veneers, the overall price increases. However, we provide discounts for bulk packages, with common selections being sets of 10, 16, or 20 veneers.

For a consistent and aesthetically pleasing appearance, we recommend using the same material for all veneers within the visible area of your smile, known as the smile line. Mixing materials such as composite and porcelain is not advisable. While porcelain retains its color and resists chipping over time, composite is more prone to wear and staining, leading to a mismatched appearance as your smile ages.

Porcelain crowns are a little more costly, typically by an extra $100 per tooth, compared to porcelain veneers.

Our offices are located in Cartagena, Medellin, Bogota, and Cali.

Balancing these additional expenses with the savings on dental care is key to making the most out of a dental tourism trip to Colombia.
